Volunteers in The Muskoka Foundation

Being in Africa does not mean only adventure and touring in national parks but also making a positive impact on the local communities that really need our help. For this reason, we decided to take part as volunteers to The Muskoka Foundation programs and passing our knowledge, skills and experience to anybody.

The Muskoka Foundation consists of "..a network of hundreds of modern day explorers, traveling overland in communities around the world, using their professional skills to do good as they go. This network can lead to a significant impact on the world we visit, reducing poverty, improving health and inspiring others to do the same. Unlike many of the 'voluntourism' type Gap Year programs, our global travelers are seasoned professionals such as doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs and consultants.". Please visit their website for more information.

We hope to have a great time there as this is an opportunity to learn and get closer to local people. All in all, we are curious about the T.I.A. way of living.
